Asher Horcher-Vore was born and raised in Wheeling, IL where she spent most of her childhood on her family farm. From a young age she was exposed to the vast disconnect between urban communities and the farmers that make urban living possible. This exposure fueled her passion for problem solving and justice. After earning her Bachelors of Science in Agriculture and Society with a minor in Political Science, Asher attended law school at The University of Illinois Chicago Law School. After Passing the Illinois bar, Asher transferred her license into Iowa and began practicing criminal defense.

When Asher isn’t working, she is spending time with her family, painting, or sneaking out to pick up bubble tea.
